As president and chief financial officer of Mowery Capital Management, LLC, Frederick Eugene “Fritz” Mowery helps affluent clients create stock portfolios catered to their needs and preferred level of risk. Currently, Fritz Mowery is also partnering with Fibrenew to repair and renew furniture and vehicle interiors. Fibrenew helps restore functionality in an environmentally conscious way.

Fibrenew was created in 1985, and the first franchise was purchased in 1987 by Michael Wilson. In 1994, Wilson and his wife, Fran Wilson, acquired the company, and soon afterward, Fibrenew’s number of franchises grew and gained an international presence. In 1999, the first franchise opened in the United States, and by 2012 over 100 locations were operating in the States.

Fibrenew repairs upholstery materials from diverse sources. The company can repair fabrics from home furniture, medical tables, and car, boat, and aircraft interiors. Franchisees perform over 315,000 repairs per year, and in the process, save customers money and prevent their damaged materials from entering landfills.

Fibrenew has over 270 locations worldwide. The company is a member of the International Franchise Association, a group that promotes franchising, and all members of the process, from franchise owners to suppliers. Franchise owners come from all walks of life, and collectively, prevent over seven Olympic-sized swimming pools of damaged upholstery from entering landfills every year.
